John Garbarino

John formally joined Webster as a Partner in 2014. However, he has been involved with Webster portfolio companies since 2008 when he was the Chief Executive Officer of Freedom Home Healthcare and later the Chief Executive Officer of Epic Health Services. Prior to Epic Health Services and Freedom Home Healthcare, John was President and Chief Executive Officer of EyeTel Imaging, an ophthalmic telemedicine company backed by Bain Capital Ventures and Radius Ventures. John was also Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of Occupational Health + Rehabilitation, which he built into the third largest national occupational healthcare provider. The company was publicly traded from 1996 until its sale to Concentra in 2005.
Earlier in his career, John was a Partner at Foster Management Company and Co-founded Fairfield Venture Partners. John also held a senior level position at Business Development Services, Inc., the venture capital arm of General Electric Company. John began his career as a Certified Public Accountant with Ernst and Whinney (now Ernst & Young).
John was educated at Boston College and the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College.
