Marianne Voss

Managing Director & Chief ESG Officer

Marianne joined Webster in 2021 and serves as the Chief ESG Officer.  In this role, Marianne is responsible for evolving Webster’s ESG program to meet company, investor, and stakeholder expectations, and to aid management in risk mitigation and in creating further value at a fund and company level.

Prior to Webster, Marianne’s career has included senior leadership positions within Global 500 companies such as, Head of Operations for Social & Environmental Affairs at the Adidas Group.  She has also held key roles with NGO’s defining corporate responsibility best practices such as Acting Deputy Director and Senior Advisor, Private Sector at Oxfam America. Marianne was also a founder of Ethos Matters, a boutique management consultancy helping companies in all sectors meet and exceed global standards through their operations, products, services, or business relationships to build a global economy good for business, people, and the planet. Marianne has also taught corporate responsibility courses at Bentley College and the University of Rhode Island.

Marianne is a graduate of Stonehill College, Boston University School of Law and holds a master’s degree concentrating in Public International Law and Human Rights from the Fletcher School at Tufts University.
